Lest We Forget – We will always remember them, and we do. On Saturday, 9 November, we held a Rare Birdie Remembrance Day Challenge—an exciting fundraising golf event with all the proceeds going to Legacy WA. Thank you to Anzac Patron Peter Bowen for organising and Legatee Dave Jones for supplying some prizes. We thank you for your ongoing support of Legacy WA and camaraderie in the competition. We look forward to seeing everyone play next year.
The Remembrance Day Challenge had an amazing turnout as the Perth sun shined. It was a fun-filled day building on respect and comradeship. We would love to congratulate Brodie and his mates for a well-deserved win. Furthermore, a big congrats to Thys Gorter for winning the Peter Bowen “Bowens Estate Shiraz” and Legacy Mug with Brodie and Trev coming second and third.
This provided an exciting uplift in competition for the Peter Bowen Club Championship. Several players knocked off scores and moved up the leaderboard, with Richo now with a 3-point lead, followed by Mal and Rowey.
