Introducing the Legacy Tap!

Legacy has launched a new interactive donation method in pubs and clubs across NSW with the Legacy Tap. Designed to resemble a real beer tap, it allows you to make a cashless donation in support of veterans’ families.

Buying a drink for a mate is a way of saying thanks – it’s a symbol of camaraderie and gratitude. And, as Aussies move away from traditional cash donations, the Legacy Tap is an alternative to the well-known tin hat money boxes previously kept on the counters of many pubs and clubs.

By shouting a symbolic ‘beer’ for a veteran, you can pay your respects to our Aussie heroes by supporting the families left behind. The funds go directly to Legacy families to provide financial, emotional and social support, such as assistance with schooling costs, bills and groceries.

The Tap allows you to donate $2, $5, $10 or $20 using your phone or credit card.

You can find a Legacy Tap on the bar at the following locations:

The Imperial Hotel Paddington

Bob Hawke Beer and Leisure Centre Marrickville

Camellia Hotel Rosehill

The Salamander Hotel, Salamander Bay

Bull and Bush Medowie

Lakeside Village Tavern, Raymond Terrace

Longyard Hotel, Tamworth

If there isn’t a Legacy Tap at your local establishment, you can still show your support for veterans’ families by donating at legacytap.com.au

Say thanks to the veterans who have given so much by supporting their families and donating via the tap.
