I’m pleased to announce that Brisbane Water (NSW) Legacy has lodged a development application for an upgrade to our retirement village which will boast seven-storey modern living apartments with waterfront views of Brisbane Water for our residents. The building concepts have been crafted with design excellence, as advised and supported by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, and include various communal and social spaces such as lounges, halls, terraces and gardens. The one, two and three bedroom units will be a sleek upgrade for our residents, with the current village built in 1964. We have strongly considered the input from residents, their families, and local Legacy beneficiaries throughout the planning process, which started in 2018, to ensure we do right by them and our community. The one-bedroom apartments will remain as affordable rental units for our Legacy beneficiaries and veterans. We can’t wait to see our vision come to life, but for now these renders will have to do!
