2019 Legacy - Goulburn - Anzac Day - 11.00am Service

President Bill also laid a wreath at the 11.00am Service and he had the pleasure of his mother, Mrs June Harding, accompany him.

Mrs Dot McCabe laid a wreath on behalf of the Rosemary Club and Mrs Patricia Ford on behalf of the Widows Club.

Our wreaths laid at the Goulburn Services were made by Legatee Jean Lloyd and Mrs Iris Sturgiss which represented a very personal touch at the Anzac Services this year.

2019 Legacy Week
Sunday 1st September, 2019 to Saturday 7th September, 2019

The Legacy Week Appeal aims to build awareness about the importance of Legacy’s work in the community. The campaign also hopes to raise much needed funds to assist the services that Legacy provides to 80,000 families of Australia’s deceased veterans.

Over 25,000 troops have been deployed overseas since 1999 and over 5,000 new widows of deceased veterans enrol with Legacy every year. We need the public’s assistance to ensure Legacy’s crucial services continue both now and into the future.

The Goulburn District is very supportive of Legacy's work in caring for the families of those who served their country.

Our Legatees, widows, National Service Association volunteers, High School students and Army Cadets are always on hand to assist us in selling Badges and Merchandise and their presence during this week doesn't go unnoticed.

Legacy are very appreciative of this support and look forward to working together with a great group of people each year.

Since 1923 Legacy has kept their promise to look after the families of deceased veterans. Buy a badge during Legacy Week and together we can keep the promise. Donate at any Commonwealth Bank branch, call 1800 534 229 or visit legacy.com.au
