Our Services
Community Visitors and Legatees
Legacy is a voluntary organisation founded on personal service. Throughout Australia, thousands of dedicated volunteers and members regularly visit or call those we support, ensuring they always have someone to lean on.
School-age education support
Legacy assists with education costs, school uniforms, laptops and much more. Legacy can help support after-school activities such as music, art, karate, or sports.
Assistance with claims
Legacy works to ensure our families receive the correct entitlements, rights and benefits at all times.
Personal development activities
Legacy ensures children and young adults have the opportunity to participate with their peers in sports, drama and other activities that are of interest to them and potentially may be a long term career choice.
Holidays and camps
Legacy holds annual recreational camps and holidays as a fundamental way of creating friendships and bonds.
Socialisation activities
From monthly morning teas to group social outings and annual celebrations, Legacy provides a regular means of social inclusion for those we support.
Income Support
Legacy understands families and individuals can have difficulty covering bills and expenses following the death of a family member and Legacy may be able to offer financial assistance where needed.
Medical and health access support
Legacy may provide assistance to obtain mobility devices like wheelchairs and walkers and the provision of medical devices such as Personal Response Units to assist with independent living.
Emergency relief
In times of hardship, grief and loss, Legacy may step in to help families get back on their feet by assisting with emergency funds.
Tertiary education support
Legacy offers a range of scholarships to assist students with pursing further studies.
