We are fortunate to have many wonderful supporters fundraise on behalf of Legacy across Australia and overseas. These fantastic fundraising efforts help raise vital funds to enable us to care for the families of our fallen heroes.

MNB-TK crew's 24 hour challenge!

A big thanks to the MNB-TK crew for their amazing 24 hour challenge to raise funds for Legacy in September 2012, raising a total of $5, 523.00!
The challenge consisted of 2 treadmill teams and 5 spin bike teams covering a massive 4,193.5 kms.
Special hooray to Sgt Cassandra Fien for pulling this together (blue PTI shirt in the front row).

Super star Craig.
Check out our wonderful fundraiser Craig – he’s only 13 and recently ran the City to Surf in Darwin raising over $400 for Legacy. Our thanks and well done go to Craig.

Legacy Beards.
A huge thank you to the 8 ‘Legacy Beards' who each donated $500 to grow a beard during their deployment. What a fabulous fundraising initiative for Legacy - and what fabulous beards!

Tour de Legacy.
From 27 February – 6 March 2013, 26 cyclists rode over 1,000 km from Melbourne to Adelaide to raise awareness and funds for Legacy.

Legacy fundraiser by Gaz and Jaz.
Gary Redman and his dog Jaz, travelled 2,500km across the country by canoe. The four month trip hoped to raise $10,000 for Legacy.

RAR Stomp to Support 2013.
On Australia Day, those stomping remembered the 38 Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan by taking part in a Stomp for Support across the country.

Sallyman: Journey of 1000 Miles.
Nigel Roden ran the Melbourne Marathon on October 14th 2012. It was his first marathon, and he was raising money for Legacy.

Neil's 24hr Solo Bike Ride.
Neil McCallum took on the challenge to solo ride 24 hours around Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra, to raise funds for Legacy.
Neil's challenge took place from 11.00 on the 10 November and finished at 11.00 on the 11 November 2012.

Trekking in Tweed
3 guys and a girl drove a highly unsuitable car from London to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to compete in the Mongol Rally 2012.

Aussie Troops in Afghanistan.
Using prizes donated by the Queensland Rugby League for the State of Origin series, CPL Gary Jarrett and the troops deployed overseas raised vital funds for Legacy.
Thanks guys for opening your big hearts to raise money for Legacy.

Huge thanks go to Rob Greig and the troops serving with SOTG (Special Operations Task Group) in Afghanistan for the 'Your Shout' campaign. They raised over $24,000 for Legacy. What a fantastic result, our thanks go to you.

Wagga Takes Two.
Andrew raised $14,662 for Wagga Legacy by participating in the annual Wagga Takes Two charity singing extravaganza.
Now in it's sixth year, 'Wagga Wagga Takes Two' teams together 12 of Wagga's best entertainers with 12 local celebrities to provide two nights of great entertainment. Andrew teamed with semi-professional entertainer Lauren Colsen.
Well done Andrew and big thanks from Wagga Legacy!

Grant runs the Toughest Foot Race on Earth.
Grant completed the 27th Sultan Marathon Des Sables. 250kms across the Sahara Desert in 6 Days and fundraising for Legacy. Amazing effortt!!

Kan-Ville Challenge for Legacy.
34 members of the Australian Army Rotary Wing Group tallied up the distances they ran on treadmills, cycled and rowed on rowing machines in an effort to cover the 10,268kms back to their base in Australia.

Back the Buswell's to the BMX World Championships.
Helping Harrison get to the 2012 BMX World Championships in the UK.

Tim Aplin Memorial Fund
Supporting this family and hundreds of others by asking for a donation, however small to help make their life and the lives of hundreds of other families just that little bit easier.

Des's Ironman Challenge
Des participated in Ironman Australia, a 226km triathlon consisting of 3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42.2km run raising much needed funds for Legacy.
